一、floor的用法
1、floor作「地面，地板」解時，多指房間的地面，可以是木板的，也可能是水泥、石頭的，甚至可以是泥土的。
2、floor表示「(樓房的)層」時，英、美用法不同。地面上的「第一層」，英式英語說the ground floor，美式英語說the first floor；地面上的「第二層」。
3、英式英語說the first floor，美式英語說the second floor，其他依此類推。表示「在某一層」時，用介詞on。
4、floor作「底部」解時，指海洋、洞穴或其他多少有些凹陷地方的底，是可數名詞。
